Senator Monday Okpebholo's desire and willingness to engage with the media and other platforms is exemplified in his humility and agreement to engage and participate in the Akoko Edo Zoom outing. Even when he knew that the organisers were Asue Ighodalo's apologist cohorts.
For example, Okpebholo's apt responses to subjects on tourism, what he wished and can do for Akoko Edo people etc, he answered; that despite what he already knows as their needs, he said he did rather ask them what they need him to do so that he prioritises and tailors his deliverables along those lines rather than Asue Ighodalo who is master-know-it-all that promises to give and shove down the people's throat what he assumes they need whether they like or loathe it.
The difference between Okpebholo and Ighodalo is starkly clear. Whilst Okpebholo is a talk-and-do, tailored, issues based agenda, incoming governor, Ighodalo on the other hand, like a tabula rasa, goes round speaking grammar and showcasing embellished CV of ceremonial board membership here and there, brewery and Dangote this and that.
What people don't know are that Ighodalo listed positions were mostly non-executive chairmanship, and governing board membership some of which are often bought with money. This is often not far-fetched from this person who boasts of affluent wealth capable of such purchasing power to afford such titles.
The Akoko Edo Zoom outing by the way, was organised by Ighodalo's urchins seeking to unravel the beautiful and strategic plans Okpebholo has for the governance of the good Edo State and people of Edo State. Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza, is not daft as they think to give out his formulaic policies and strategies to his opponent at a Zoom meeting such as this one they organised with biased mind.
People should watch out for Senator Monday Okpebholo's subsequent outings to hit the ground running now that APC campaign council list has just been released.
It is on Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa aka Denco (MoDen24 ticket) we stand.
