It was glitz and glamour last Sunday 28th August 2022 at the palatial Double Tree auditorium, London as Edo State born United Kingdom based Consultant Obstetrics, Gynaecologist and Medical Simulation expert. Dr Mrs Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor was honoured with the distinguished Inspirational Role Model and Mentors, IRMM Awards.
In a lavish ceremony, individuals and organisations gathered from all walks of life. It was an evening to celebrate, honour and recognise ordinary people doing extraordinary things in the community and the society at large. For Dr Loretta, it was a double act as the day was her birthday. Her award citation and presentation were preceded with a vociferous rendition of `Happy birthday` song by guests. In a short citation, Dr Loretta was described as a trailblazer, mobilizer, and a leader who is passionate about bettering the lot of humanity.
